Finally, A Diet That Works For Lazy People

The Ounce-A-Day Diet
The Simplest And Easiest Diet In The World

If you're like every other dieter on this planet, you've suffered through many frustrating days, weeks and months, maybe even years of self-torture only to discover that every diet you tried was either expensive, very difficult to follow, or unsuccessful.  Perhaps all three.  To make matters worse, any pounds that you did manage to lose quickly came back within a few days after you thought you had lost them forever.

The reason for all your troubles is that the word "pound" or "pounds" is set as the benchmark for all diets to achieve.

We've all said at one time or another, "I've got to lose a few pounds."  For some, that's a statement of commitment with a clearly defined goal and a plan to achieve it.  Unfortunately, for others it's just wishful thinking and losing any number of 'pounds' seems like an insurmountable task, even with support and help.  Even so, you don't want to give up trying so you keep looking for that magic diet plan that is affordable, easy to follow and successful.

Sometimes, people do find a way in spite of the challenges and complexities of  what may be a life-altering decision.  And sometimes it works for them.  It can for you as well...

Look at the key players in this plan of action: YOU...  No one else.  That's how it should be.

Who better knows your desires and capabilities better than you?  You alone understand what you are capable of achieving, so long as you understand the process to achieve it.  It's your destiny and you have a vested interest in making it come true.

It's your diet...

Most diets, as you have probably experienced, involve a complex formula that at first appears to be achievable, assuming you precisely follow the rules.  But for many people, following the rules is not always easy when you are constantly bombarded with temptations to ignore them.

The One Ounce A Day Diet is different...

What if I told you there is only one rule here.

Yes, it's absolutely true.  There's just one rule on the Ounce A Day Diet Plan and that rule is to do whatever you need to do to lose one ounce each day.  None of that 'one pound in a week'  or ten pounds by the end of the month or  50 pounds by next Christmas nonsense.  Not even 200 pounds by your 40th birthday.  None of that.  That approach seldom works anyway, mostly because all you see is the end goal, not the process of getting there.  For the average person it is doomed from the start because it requires a strict regimentation in your life that is difficult or impossible to maintain day in, day out for months or years.

The rule here is simple: Lose one ounce a day... period

Yes, just one ounce a day.  That's it.

Once you start you may find that you are losing more than one ounce a day.  Great!  But that doesn't mean you can skip days or forget about the plan.  No, you just keep doing what you're doing to lose that one ounce each and every day.  If you happen to be a few days or even weeks ahead, you will just start looking better and feeling better sooner.  But you keep at it.  Remember - One Ounce A Day...

How to do it...

It's easy, you weigh the health benefits against the calories that you are about to eat or drink.  You think about it and decide if this is the point in your day to do something to lose the ounce.

If so, you just skip that donut or cola you think you need.  Or those fries you usually get with your sandwich. Or the office birthday cake.  Any of these are probably good for more than one ounce but let's stick to the simple plan and that is to consciously cut out something from your daily intake of food, beverage, snacks, treats, etc. that will help you lose the ounce.  Your choice...  You can even give up some calories by not eating them and combine it with 20 minutes on the treadmill.  It really doesn't matter which method you use because all you are trying to achieve is to lose one ounce today.  Tomorrow will start another day and bring its own challenges.  You can decide then what and how you will lose your ounce.

But let's say you are put in that uncomfortable position of having to taste something someone brought to a party, or the office or for that matter, or you just really need a piece of chocolate to calm your really stressful day.  No problem, have it.  In fact, enjoy it.  But realize that tomorrow you will have to lose the one ounce on the plan plus the one ounce the chocolate added to your weight.  Let's just call it 'justified cheating with a one-ounce penalty.'

Think about it: one ounce a day equals 7 ounces in a week, or 30 ounces in a month (almost 2 pounds), or 365 ounces in a year (22.8 pounds).

You probably already know the number of calories you need to maintain your current weight.  But you don't want to maintain your weight, you want to lose some of it.

If you don't know, here's a simple way to calculate it.

Figure that there are 3,500 calories in a pound of fat.  But you may not be on a 3,500 calorie a day diet, so you'll need to do some simple math:

To determine just how many calories a day you need to maintain your current weight, let's use the Mayo Clinic calculator.  Just click on the link below:

https://www.lifespanfitness.com/fitness/resources/calories-calculator

Now that you know how many calories you need to maintain your current weight you can calculate how many calories you will need to avoid in order to reduce your weight by one ounce a day.

The general rule of thumb is to lose an ounce of your weight in a day you would need to avoid eating or drinking about 220 calories.  Or you could lose 220 calories through exercise, but I think we can both agree that you're here because exercise hasn't been working well for you.  Of course, you also could combine the two.

So with this in mind:

Deduct 220 from the maintenance calories and the result is your Ounce A Day Diet Calories

It's still calories but another option is to improve the type of food you eat.  Leafy green vegetables and brightly colored peppers are good, as are just about any foods that are high in protein and fiber, and low in fat.

You probably already know most of the 'stuff' that's bad for you, so I won't dwell on that.  Or you can read it on the package or look it up on the Internet.

Do whatever you need to do to cut out 220 calories
from your maintenance calories each day

It may sound like it will take some magic, but it doesn't, and the really great part about this is that no matter how you lose it, what you lose stays off because it's a progressive loss.  Every lost ounce is gone, never to return because the next day you're working on losing an entirely different ounce.

One day at a time - One ounce at a time.

It just makes beautiful sense, doesn't it?

Before you ask, the answer is it's Free.  That's right, it costs you nothing.  No books to buy, no fees, no classes, no pills, and no exercise.  You heard right: no exercise.  You've gotta love it.

Think about it, you probably wouldn't do the exercises anyway so why bother making it part of the program?  Of course, exercise would help dramatically, but if you're already overweight, you're probably out of shape too.  And you may not feel comfortable doing exercises or going to a gym.  At least not now, but things change when you start to see the ounces come off.  You'll see.

Suddenly, you begin to think more about what you 'can do' than what you 'can't do' or 'don't want to do.'  When the time is right to exercise you'll know it and you'll be ready for it.

So, you might ask, if this is a free diet plan with no books to buy, no fees, no pills, no classes and no exercise, what's the catch?

No catch.  It's simple, I want to show that this diet really works and you're the one making it work.  No one else in the world knows what you are doing.  I do suggest, however, that you discuss any diet, including this one, with your doctor first. But other than that, you're totally on your own.  It's your diet...

My reason: I want you and everyone who is overweight to know that there is a way to change your lives, to slim down to a comfortable, healthy weight, and to be happy with yourself.

Here's the big question... Are you ready to get started?

I thought you would say YES!

Here we go........

Let's first find out where we're starting from.  (By the way, this is for your own personal use only.  You don't have to send it to anyone.)

Click here: BMI Calculator to calculate your BMI (Body Mass Index)  Yes, it's important...

Plug in your height and weight and click on calculate

Compare your BMI number with the BMI Classification chart below.  That's where you're starting from.

If its 30 or above, it may be a bit scary but don't worry about it. The numbers will start to change.

As you begin to lose weight, go back periodically to the calculator and plug in your new weight numbers.  It won't happen overnight but it will happen and you will see yourself changing to a lower BMI.  That's progress, and that should make you feel good.

If you want to keep daily records, do it.  Recording the results can help you see where you've been and where you're going. Plus, it feels really good when you can see your progress on a chart or in a journal.

Just remember, it's your diet program and there's only one rule:

Lose one ounce a day...

and now you're actually doing it...

One day soon you will be the person you've wanted to be.

Best of luck...
